Ehh, I guess. I don't think it mattered if we fired Seth or not, we were headed for the basement of the conference either way. With Seth not being able to keep an assistant, we didn't have much choice....even if we knew we couldn't hire a good coach anyway. There is at least some hope for JJ, he can recruit, he can keep assistants. He doesn't have a high probability for success, but Seth over the next 3-4 years didn't either.

I say True. Well done Weaver. We lost a decent coach and two highly touted recruits. Yes we have lost players in the past under Greenebrg, but not this caliber.
My biggest grudge against Greenberg was that he appeared to overwork the payers, many injuries. The boring motion offense worked to keep us in games with opponents with better players. Our PPG will increase by 2 and our losses will increase by 10.
The simple fact is that Blacksburg is NOT a basketball school. The alumni are too far away to travel in and the students in general do not care. I say students as a whole, not the ones reading this board in the summer.
Football is an event. Basketball is a 2 hour game.
