    Agreed. When the Morva manhunt was going on, TSL had a lot better info. than any of the news outlets

    That's different, IMO. I was more taking a jab at the "I think there's a tornado, better post on TSL!" mindset. It's a cousin of the "I'm on my honeymoon, better check in on TSL!"/"I'm on vacation, better post" mindset.

    Folks outside a situation (9/11, 4/16, Morva) sharing real-time updates about what they're hearing or reading ... no question that TSL is (maybe was, who knows with newTSL) a strong source for news.

    Two different mind sets, for sure. I think reporting a possible tornado is more of a "real time update" than a "checking in while on the honeymoon" post, though.

    Trees down some homes damaged. Power still out and iPad about to die.
