Did they sign a contract or simply agree to terms? Did this alleged contract spell out the terms of completion and what constitutes a violation of the terms? Did the Big East hold up to its terms of any alleged contract?

These are all valid questions that need answers before it can be determined whether TCU owes the Big East anything at all.
