Sounds like his "speech" did little to clear up the miscommunication for the Board. If that is an exact transcript, the AD needs to get back in the Toastmasters Club.

Why do they need to paint the stadium? It's an all brick facade.

Facade covers the very old steel inside. It was bush league, then FSU Athletics got the state to build university housing, classrooms , etc just outside the stadium, and those facilities have the brick facade.
