Saw him play at Cassell back in the day. Was a great show. Opened for Dave Mason.

Spring break - 1978. Road trip to Fort Lauderdale. The French Kiss album had come out the previous fall. Six of us drove to Fort Lauderdale in a 1974 Thunderbird and French Kiss was the only cassette tape the driver would play. "Have you seen that girl in the corner? I'd like to take her out of her chains.........". I really got sick of that song.
And of course, now it's stuck in my head.......Why do people point to their wrists when asking for the time, but don't point to their crotch when they ask where the bathroom is?

That was my freshman year. Learned a lot about life on that trip..... First time I ever saw the ocean (grew up in the midwest). Two of our guys took off early in the week with a couple girls they met and we didn't see them again until it was time to head back to Blacksburg. But we still ended up with 6-10 people sleeping in our one hotel room every night. Originally Posted by GFallsFan

First name I thought of was Bob Welch of the Dodgers. Pitcher from the 70's and 80's.
