FSU President to address Big 12 situation today. The writing should be on the wall..

He was the original....many ohter posting it too. Of course, the Big 12 Twitter Mafia claims they predicted it, and it will either be a vague denial or an expansion committee anouncement of some sort.

haven't they had a conference alignment committee in place since last May? their job is to periodically report back on whether or not FSU should be looking at options? i thought that was simply a standing committee...

my prediction on today's announcement:

1. Thank Andy Haggard for his service, as he will be stepping down from the BOT this summer.

2. Reaffirm commitment to ACC, yet, confirm what i said above, that they will maintain a standing committee tasked with studying the ever shifting landscape to ensure FSU remains in the best position for FSU.

3. something firm, yet ambiguous enough to leave a door open like "FSU will be in the ACC for the 2013-14 academic year". essentially closing the door for this summer, but keeping it open for later...
