the more i think about it, the more i'm ok with the idea, but i still don't love it. if you look at the past 5 years (as i did in another post), it's hard to see where they could have screwed up. if anything, i think in 2008 they could have helped by sliding 2 low ranked undefeated teams into the final 4 as 3 and 4 seeds (Utah and Boise St, i think) whereas no formula would have done that. i guess time will tell.
