we have had in a while? If we win out, still go to the Champ bowl?

Seriously? It is a lot stronger than last year. This is actually among the strongest that I can remember.

OOC opponents disproves that theory, of being strongest. It's not as weak as last season's, for certain. It's not an extremely challenging slate, though. We've got all summer to prep for the offense that obsesses Bud - GaTech. We get F$U on a drunken Thursday night late in the season, we don't have any tough games away other than Clemson. Don't even try to argue that Cincinnati will be a challenge.
It's the typical Frank Beamer 10-11 win season.

I think you're forgetting that we (like most teams actually) usually lose one we shouldn't when you look at it on paper(UNC after the RW fumble, Miami 2005, Clemson last year, JMU a couple of seasons ago, the game that never happened 1998, Almost WVU in 1999, ECU 2008, Syracuse 2001 after 6 straight wins, WVU 2003, NC State 2004 based on the fight we put up against USC, etc...). At Clemson will be tough. scUM always has the potential to be tough. I'm still not convinced we can consistently beat FSU. Pitt always plays like Alabama or LSU when they play us (1 of multiple reasons I hate the idea of them in the ACC). UNC always has the chance to have cheated enough to edge us out. And call me crazy, but I still don't like that we scheduled Austin Peay for 5 days after Ga Tech even if they are just Austin Peay. If we win out, we'll be in a BCS bowl if not the MNC game. It will be one of those two options. All that said, we haven't won out since 1999, so, let's just say while I'm excited about this season, my hopes are cautiously optimistic and realistically in check.

Roll eyes at Miami's 6-6 record last season, 3-5 in the ACC. You can pretend they're the 'Canes of lore, but they're not that good of a team. They shouldn't present any more of a challenge than UVa.
UNC? Yes, they will have a new spread offense that Bud Foster is already focused on defending. But then again, they were 7-6 last year, 3-5 in the ACC.
Let's roll our eyes at anyone who thinks a team with a losing record in the ACC is someone who is to be feared. I don't know, was JMU a challenge? WE 'could' lose ANY game. Should we lose those games? No. Should we win by double digits? Yes.
Should both of those teams be improved this year? One would hope so, for their sake alone. You can't play the brag about 'winning ten games for X years' while also playing the 'our schedule is tough because we play a 6-6 team away' card. Well, you can, but you shouldn't.
