Remember when Pitt and Syra were introduced as the #13 & #14 members? Exactly how much expansion noise came from either the ACC, Pitt, Syra, BE, or media, or "gurus"? Exactly none, that I remember.

All I remember is a story or two breaking a couple of days before the announcement, and those were poo pooed as non starters.

It's a total contrast to the endless patter that went on last year as TA&M and MO were worked with to come aboard.

It is dead silent, and at their annual meeting the SEC is totally engulfed in figuring out how to handle their expansion of last year. Figuring out a schedule has almost totally absorbed their entire annual meeting this week. No way they're in the mood to expand their problems (and revenue sharing) even more, until they've had time to digest last year's expansion.

Anyhow, Weaver's just stated the obvious, IMO, and there's no need to fancy-dance about it. Good thing, because Weaver's no fancy-dancer.
