The problem is how do you know what conference is truly the best in college football. It is all perception and changes from year to year. It was not long ago that a 13-0 Auburn got passed over. Unless all teams play each other it will always just be media perceptions. SOS is not realistic. The other conferences will protect their champions or the regular season becomes meaningless and college attendance for football drops like it has in college basketball. They have ruined college basketballs regular season.
