Awesome, flagship schools of their respective states and charter members of the Big 12 took a hike. Something is rotten in that conference when one third of historical members want out. OUCH ! Each of the members that left were begged to stay in and reconsider. All kinds of concessions were promised but rejected by Nebraska, Colorado,Texas A&M, and Missouri . All had had their fill of the Texas two-step.
Suggesting that either TCU or wvu with a few BCS wins in any way shape or form comes close to replacing any of those schools is laughable.
I don't "look down" on the Big 12(-2) and I sure as heck don't put them on any pedestal. They have got a lot of internal fence-mending to do before they can beat their chest, IMHO.
