being one, but just one, of the factors to be weighted in the BCS formula. That added weighting will help, but it shouldn't outweigh all other factors in the formula. If a non-champion is so good and heavily weighted in all other factors in the formula that they outrank conference champions despite the weighting in the formula given them, then so be it -- the non-champion is in the playoff.
The point is moot if a non-champion is 1,2, or 3. They would've done so well otherwise in the formula that no real argument is warranted.

Beginning to feel the best solution is just BCS top 4, with being conference champion
