I think there are bound to be stumbles in every process. As much as I love to nitpick the VTTO & Hokie Club, I think this process was done 95+% perfectly. The only improvement I can offer is to have adjusted the odd number of available seats on a daily basis, so as to alleviate the problem you incurred.
I adjusted my expectations because of that, and got my four seats in pairs of two in back to back rows, as opposed to getting four on the same row. I'm hoping it works better for us. I did essentially blow a day of vacation to make sure I could get the seats I wanted the most. I didn't come close to getting them, despite that, but I was able to adjust on the fly and I'm eager for the new seats.
It sure seems like few probems for such a large number of customers.
I will never understand people.
