I thought the primary reason for JJ (you know instead of Jay Wright, Smart, or Coach K)was contiunity- keeping exisitng players, keeping recruits. I guess the narrative for the coach firing and subsequent hire need to be adjusted again.

The new coach starts by bringing in new assistants to do things the way he wants it done. New players are brought in, some old players leave on their own, and even some players are shown the door if the new coach doesn't think they will fit with the new regime. Even team managers suffer the same fate. All this happens whenever there is a head coaching change. Move on.
