We have to agree to disagree about not being competitive..I say we would be in 5 years or less (and I have friends who are big SEC alumni who actually think it would be within a couple of years - I won't go THAT far). Also, if FSU, Clemson and Miami are going to threaten to leave at every turn, how long until the dominoes begin to fall, and we are STUCK in a second rate conference?

i think you are reading too far into what im saying. if the ACC was salvaged for parts we would be forced to act, and i believe we would. i also believe the SEC would be proud to have us, so no disagreement there.

my scenario has to do with what would happen once we got there. its one hell of a slippery slope but the problem is one does not have to use their imagination to see us in those situations.
