its easy to climb several rungs at a time when you come from the bottom but the SEC is top level football competition. not willing to accept that we wont grow but it would take another 20 years of beamer-era growth to challenge for SEC titles and THAT i do not see happening.
We have to agree to disagree about not being competitive..I say we would be in 5 years or less (and I have friends who are big SEC alumni who actually think it would be within a couple of years - I won't go THAT far). Also, if FSU, Clemson and Miami are going to threaten to leave at every turn, how long until the dominoes begin to fall, and we are STUCK in a second rate conference?
