Let's face it. If they leave, then those left in the ACC will take a big paycut. So, why not just tell FSU and Clemson (after they get a real offer) that we will match it. Since we are all now getting more TV money, why not just have the other teams all give up some amount per year of our payout and give it to FSU and Clemson. We probably wouldn't miss a million a year. Heck, we probably just gained that much or more from the reseating. I know I doubled my contribution (for almost the SAME seats, no less!).
From what I've read FSU's and Clemson's main complaint is that they could make more cash in the Big 12. Take that issue away and then why would they leave. They ACC is better from several aspects anyway, closer games, better basketball, better academics, history, etc.

All the real decision makers and legitimate sources indicate they are staying. I would hate for VT to go to Big 12, cannot imagine why anyone would want FSU or Clemson to go to Big 12.
