Didn't the Big East try and play with different rules one year? Six fouls instead of five? They got tired of their guys fouling out because the league was so physical or something like that. Maybe I remembered it wrong.

Now this ... the very definition of a basketball-centric writer (odd bird to be writing for a South Carolina newspaper, eh?) whistling past the graveyard. Good thing he's not the ACC commissioner:
