ARE we the only ACC football focused school that will not listen to offers-Leadership

Weaver made a pretty telling statement in the Roanoke Times article titled "Weaver: Hokies Staying in the ACC" that follows:

"Because we're right smack dab in the footprint of the conference," he said. "We have a lot of similarities to a lot of institutions in the conference, such as Clemson, such as N.C. State, such as the University of Maryland, such as Florida State. In other words, land-grant institutions and peer-type institutions."

You see no UVA mentioned here and no Carolina or Duke. No BC or Syracuse. You see the 4 most rumored schools, outside of VT, to leave the ACC in the past 12 months. If, IF, those schools leave, we'll have lost our "peer-type, land-grant institutions" that are our allies in the ACC and will seek them in conferences elsewhere. At least that's how I read it.

Wow. I hadn't seen this. That is definitely telling.
