We can't get out of the ACC fast enough. I still have yet to see an explanation from anyone, other than geography, as to why the ACC is a good fit.

ACC is hoop first -- Hoops is that thing you do waiting for the spring game at VT
ACC is ran by a bunch of snotty nosed Ivy league wannabes - VT is as blue collar as they come
ACC is loaded with small private schools - VT is a large land grant university

I see nothing that fits between the ACC and VT, except geography.

And now 3 .. 2 .. 1 .. someone will bring up some nonsense about academic research partnerships. Then ask them to name 1 that is the result of ACC membership. You will get crickets. Because there are none.
