So if these 3 plus ND went to the B12, we are flocked like school of geese. It would mean an ACC with 11 teams left. We'd be begging for Rutgers so we could add a pseudo football school as #12, while the NC mafia brings in UConn, further pushing our BB program down the food chain.

We most likely would not still be in the ACC if that scenario unfolds. most peoeple I talk to still are highly skeptical anyone is leaving but you never know..

You are obviously in the know more than most, but it seems our only option in that scenario would be if the SEC came calling. In that case, there would be no #16, as it sounds like NCSU is tied at the hip to UNC and Duke. To tell the truth, it might be nice to have VT and UVa in the SEC, if that's possible.

If FSU and Clem leave ACC is once again a 12 member league...Basketball folks probably happy again....does VT admin see a real reason to run also.....if SEC really doesn't want to go to 16...VT is once again stuck in the Big East.
Or does the exit of FSU and Clem cause the SEC to want to up it to 16? Is 16 better than 14?

If FSU and Clemson left for Big 12 and two others left for SEC, Hoo's would be crazy not to explore other options. Otherwise, UVa football is dead in water. They would be a good fit for B10 (and I wish we were too). Damn AAU certification thing (although Nebraska got in).
