Could Journell be reinstated to the team but his scholarship pulled?

Journell was sentenced to a year in jail, with 355 days suspended. One can rationalize this all they want, but the bottom line is that it's on his permanent record as a year in jail.

Also, he was convicted of "entering propery with intent to do damage." I don't see anything on the court conviction about "trespassing." The Roanoke Times needs to do some accurate reporting.

IMHO, he shouldn't be allowed back on the team, especially since this isn't his first offense. Connor did well in Spring ball and more kickers are coming in the fall. Why do we need a kicker with a rap sheet who has no range?

Cut him loose and let's move one. Otherwise, it opens a big pandora's box that we don't need. Everytime we're on tv, that's all we'll hear.
