What? He made a stupid mistake. He has accepted responsaiblity and the court is ready to let him move on. There is nothing in his past to indicate any degree of thugdom. There should be a team consequence but everyone deserves a second chance (not a third or fourth however).
Besides this decision will be made (as it should be) above Beamer's head.I don't always talk to UVa Grads but when I do I always order the Large Fries.

Not exactly. TC has 1 conviction PLUS the pending charge....plus a bus trip home from the Orange Bowl. CJ has just the one conviction. I'm not sware of prior problems (unless whatever the reason for missingthe Duke game...I forgot). BUT I MAY HAVEFOUND A WAY FOR TC TO BEAT THE DRUNK CHARGE! They list him as a caucasian! Maybe it was mistaken ID.
But seriously, I'm guessing TC used his 1 get out of jail free card with the first misdemeanor, and the bus ride from the OB sure didn't help.I will never understand people.
They're the worst!

TC probably did. I just think that what Journell did was a lot worse than being a drunk in public. His situation could have gotten really serious, really fast. I do hope he keeps it clean, and if Beamer lets him back on the team, it's not the end of the world. I don't agree with it, but that's his call.

Drunk in public can be chalked up to momentary stupidity, which 'afflicts' many college kids. Staging an armed robbery (the pellet gun makes it even more stupid) over a bad drug deal goes beyond momentary stupidity. Not only was it seemingly life threatening for Hudson, it could have resulted in some serious incidents if Hudson had access to his own (real) weapon.
