Wouldn't a 14 team SEC w/VT been preferable to a 16 team one that presumably includes NC State and Mizzu? Weaver has already screwed that up. We could've had an annual A&M game in DC. Is this being too nitpicky? B10 is not inviting us. B12's pro-forma payouts with FSU and Clemson is $28 million versus $18 million ACC now. Could adding Notre Dame close that gap - I doubt it. Last summer, Weaver was too concerned about being the bad guy who started unraveling the ACC instead of THINKING and ACTING and guess what! The pro-SEC crowd was right. We had no good expansion options other than Notre Dame. The writing was on the wall.
