    Sixteen Team SEC Regions

I would happily accept any of these scenarios, but don't think the Alabama, Florida and Georgia schools would care too much for the second one.

First time I've seen UNC mentioned.

UNC gets mentioned on other MBs quite a bit, but most think they are either tied to Duke or are too arrogant to stoop to joining a conference of lower academic esteem.

Can't see UVa and UNC in separate conferences. UVa could take or leave VT. But if UNC and VT bolted, that would be intolerable for the Hoos.

I like concept 2. I would love to be in the same pod as USC-e.

Tenn and UNC/NCST are natural rivals for us.

Yuck. The SEC sounds like a really attractive conference until you see the garbage schools that are actually in the conference and have them listed out according to their geography. Yeeee uck.

Even the so called garbage schools in the SEC are better than 2/3 of the ACC.

I'm talking about academics, geographic location (e.g. their cities/towns, locations to airports), etc. Even if we were in the SEC we'd be saddled most likely by Vanderbilt and Kentucky as our regional "rivals." The ACC is a MUCH better fit culturally for Virginia Tech.

What "garbage" schools are you talking about? Are these schools more "garbage" than Wake, Duke, BC, and Cuse?
