Rev, you hearing about VT being involved with any kids late in the game?

I simply wanted discussion from everyone, in especilly some like the Rev on the issue of JUCO players. I respect and value his opinion greatly. What say you on the issue?

I was just messing around. The question gets asked here at least once a week, and gets answered at least once a week, so I'm surprised some haven't seen the discussion.

Tech doesn't recruit JUCO players in football or basketball because it's school policy to not take JUCO's that were non-qualifiers out of high school. That severely limits our pool of JUCO recruits, because the vast majority of JUCOs are in JUCO because they didn't qualify out of high school. It's a waste of time for Tech to spend any time at all monitoring JUCOs, because there is a very low likelihood they'll be able to get them into school. Even if you can get them into school, you are competing with many other major programs for them.
