How would the ACC go about getting a new Commisioner?

If FSU and others think it is too NC and basketball focused, why not vote out the Tarheel in charge.

    Linkedin.

I would like to see a guy in there who's not so tied to one school, although Swofford did a pretty good job of keeping the Pitt and Cuse additions quiet. This ACC expansion wasn't a pie-fight, unlike some of the others over the past year or so. And if ACC programs want more TV money, get better in football (this includes VT).

Note the acc presidents lead the acc and they would evaluate swofford performance. He answers to them and believe it or not he is extremely close to the presidents and he follows what they desire. So it will very difficult to see him removed .. More likely retire

Alternately, would there be value to setting a "term limit" on the ACC conference commissioner? This could be a really bad idea, I don't really know, but seems that there could be some benefit to getting someone new in that role perhaps every 8 years. Thoughts?
