So says Colin Dunlap at PPG. Understand you guys are "full up" with assistants now, but thought
you might want to know...after all, he was a Hokester, right? See you next year in Motown. Bring it.

Gosh, didn't realize I double-posted. Please accept my most heartfelt, sincere apologies for the egregious breach of the high decorum usually associated with TSL.
Now, bring it. We're waiting. Looking forward to continuing the dormant BB series, which I imagine we own.
(BTW, you've seen the chatter about VT to the B12? Wouldn't that be a hoot?)

How do you think it would have gone the past few years? I say we'd have won most of them during the hiatus, but you all have had some decent teams under SG.
We lose two seniors who scored over a thousand each, so we'll be down, and you guys are having some issues. I think you'll have trouble dealing with our size and physicality. In addition to the Turk, we've got several other bigs, one of whom could be a lottery guy.

I'm guessing if it blows up, you guys will be looking to dance with whoever will have you, just like us. That said, I do think you fit in the ACC.
Problem is your first choice has been nearly as dreadful on the gridiron as the BE (VT football being the lone bright spot, which tends to go dim in big games), was eclipsed on the hardwood by the BE, and the value as an athletic conference has dropped. For better or worse, college sports looks more and more like an arms race, which takes money...and the ACC is bringing up the rear. Also, the BCS changes could bode ill for the ACC. Now Syracuse and Pitt will help in BB, but football? I get the whole TV set argument for them, but evidently, ESPN did not.

I don't think comments by a trustee and a head coach qualify as "nonsensical rumors". We've outperformed TAMU and Mizzou the past few years in major sports, and the TV dollars we'll see are princely.
You're right, VT'll be fine. Question is, where? I'd say the ACC, but it's been rather crazy lately.
