Agreed 1000%. It is impossible to talk to anyone who doesn't either know someone or have someone in their family that is has been affected by cancer. While I guess they are making progress in the detection and treatment, it is certainly not fast enough in my opinion. I am very frustrated that millions of dollars that could have gone to cancer research have been diverted to other "diseases," some of which are nearly 100% preventable. God bless the Burnop family during this time.

The problem is cancer is a broad term for a group of diseases that behave the same. That is why there is no cure.

We have done well in some areas (i.e. prostrate), but a long way to go.

It is like calling any brain disease, dimentia, when we know there are many types of diseases that effect the memory.
