We have made great strides in research

I am very frustrated that millions of dollars that could have gone to cancer research have been diverted to other "diseases," some of which are nearly 100% preventable. God bless the Burnop family during this time.
The problem is cancer is a broad term for a group of diseases that behave the same. That is why there is no cure.

We have done well in some areas (i.e. prostrate), but a long way to go.

It is like calling any brain disease, dimentia, when we know there are many types of diseases that effect the memory.

Prayers indeed. Today is Mother's Day. Very sad.
