Anyone recommend a nice, safe spot for a picnic lunch between here? Wife and two young ladies are headed up for a bit of shopping. Wife wanted to pack a lunch and stop before heading to TC. Was thinking of having them stop at Pohick Bay Park, but don't know about facility/safety issues.

Anyway, anyone have a recommendation for there or somewhere else? Would prefer to stay out of DC, and this is my navigationally challenged wife, although she will have the GPS to get her to any destination.
