I have a service that comes once a week and gases it with chlorine. Don't know if that's what you're looking for, but it works for me. No chemicals to buy or store. When I was doing it myself, I could never get it right. Now it perfect and has been for the last 3 years.

What's that suppose to mean? He asked for advice and I told him my experience. That's bragging? Get over yourself.

The wife's cousin has a salt water pool. He claims it's way easier and cheaper to maintain. It's also easier on your skin.

Some people are like Slinkies - not really good for anything, but you still can't help but smile when you see one tumble down the stairs

I enjoy swimming in salt water pools way more than chlorinated ones. FWIW.
It's a formidable scent... It stings the nostrils. In a good way.

Used baquacil for 10 years. Had no problems with it. I also shocked more than recommended. Baquacil a little more expensive but worth it.
