The same reason they can't get enough of ML's "success" recruiting the 757: it's something different from the past decade of dominance. Still, for a game that was cancelled an hour(ish?) before kickoff because of crappy weather that had gone on all day, there was still a pretty good turnout. The Hoos, from what I heard, had near-perfect weather (correct me if I'm wrong). How many of them do you think would have turned up an hour before game-time in pouring rain? 4000? Doubtful, to put it gently. But alas, since "38-0 bro" is getting old for certain members of the media, they'll jump on anything that will make this rivalry interesting again.
