by the way, where is this type of announcement from the ACC. the SEC puts this out there EVERY year. yeah ending 2011 was the SEC's first year under their new TV rights deal (also a 15 year deal, i believe). they distributed $220MM. that includes NCAA REvenue, bowl revenue, etc. on top of the TV revenue.

i would love to see a similar "total distribution" number from the ACC and other conferences. then we would REALLY understand where the money is.

since VT got $12.5MM from the conference, i'll assume the ACC distributed ~$150MM in 2011, but that was the year before our new TV deal kicked in (which took us from like $96 MM/year to $155MM/year if i rem correctly). so i would expect to see the ACC around $200MM this year if i had to guess, but it's all just a guess.
