I don't fear him playing at UVa but its just another example of how NCAA rules are made to be broken. Trying to get out of the one year sit out rule because of the uhh, family hardship. His own high school coach went into great detail about how he is disgruntled because he sees no opportunity to be the starter at bama. At least try to pretend he is leaving for hardship...gotta help out on the Simms family farm or whatever.
I'm not even sure where this hardship exemption would even exist in the real world but if a player really needed to be closer to the family during their hardship, he could take the existing option transferring to a 1AA in his hometown (ie ODU, Norfolk State, Hampton, W&M in this case).
