New hires in a state university take a long time to get approved. They have to have references checked, criminal and credit checks run, there has to be some sort of effort to interview multiple candidates, cintract terms have to be agreed to. Originally Posted by ChrisLords

Saw on a CofC board yesterday by what appears to be one of their insiders that Mark Byington to VT is a done deal, and "it gets even worse" whatever that means, hoping it refers to Baru to VT.
