When a new staff is hired, we'll all know. It will be big news on the MBB board.
And no, Johnson hasn't confided in "everyman" about who his picks are. There has been some speculation, the chief speculation being College of Charleston Associate Head Coach Byington.
Right I suspect Coach Johnston is busier than a one legged man stomping out a room full of fires. Probably a good thing he's single.

New hires in a state university take a long time to get approved. They have to have references checked, criminal and credit checks run, there has to be some sort of effort to interview multiple candidates, cintract terms have to be agreed to.
To some extent JJ's hire could be expedited because he had been a VT employee only two weeks before the rehire and the BOV had already discussed the parameters of his contract.I don't always talk to UVa Grads but when I do I always order the Large Fries.

Saw on a CofC board yesterday by what appears to be one of their insiders that Mark Byington to VT is a done deal, and "it gets even worse" whatever that means, hoping it refers to Baru to VT.
