We won one, lost two vs Wake in Winston Salem last month. I don't know why we didn't play Klem. Might have something to do with a twelve team conference being too large to schedule everybody. Maybe this is it.....we played 5 ACC opponents as HOME series and 5 as AWAY series. If ACC teams played all 11 ACC opponents, some teams would get to play an extra series as a HOME series while other teams would be faced with the extra series as an AWAY series. The purpose for not playing one conference opponent each year is so that each team will play the same # of home vs away series against conference opponents. Apparently, we failed to realize that we had an advantage in playing Duke in a 4 game series AT HOME and lost all 4, which dug us a deep hole we are not trying to crawl out of. My prediction is that we won't make the conference tourney. That pretty much guarentees that we will. QUOTE=Techsupport;304737]**
Tech played Duke 3 times. Tech currently tied for 7th with two tough series to go. Top 8 go to the ACC tournament regardless of division I believe (after the top two in each division maybe).
