I don't know much of the Xs and Os of basketball, but here is my concern. Maybe those who know more about the sport than I do can help me out with this:
When I watched VT in the recent past, it looks like there was absolutely no offensive scheme. This was my only gripe with Seth since it appeared to me to be bad coaching. I also assumed that the assistants on the staff (including the new hire) must have contributed to this lack of offensive production. I look at the basketball team like our football team--stout on D; clueless on O.
While others were talking of the need of a new coach who can recruit, I was more interested in a new coach who can coach. Although the two positions arend mutually exclusive obviously.
The Big Question: Will our offense improve under JJ? Or will it be more of the same.
