Many. a week for the Phil Ford UNC game. Got 80 tickets front and center. That's about the time they started limiting groups and randomly seating so we wouldn't be so tempted to camp out. wHen it was very cold, they would let us sleep in the hallway around the Cassell so we wouldn't freeze.
    I will never understand people.
    They're the worst!

I looked it up, he was. What a waste of talent... Such a shame.

He was (only other Mr.VA we've ever gotten). But of course we know how that turned out.

If I recall during Hussey era, Jenis Grindstaff (remember him?) was a Mr. North Carolina but of course he didn't stay either.

Nearly EVERY neutral observer I've spoke with thinks VT has been very solid lately. Only a delusional fanbase, one that regularly undervalues 10 win football seasons, BCS appearances, and has no clue about the ebbs and flows of college basketball would deem our program as being "un-solid" the last 6 or 7 years.

Oh, so NIT appearances makes one a contenduh now? Coulda fooled me. It was a highlight and electric back then, but gets a coach fired nowadays. hell, in Cassell this season, there were many supposed Hokie fans that wouldn't cheer our coaches and players, much less the broom guy.

I never said it was Cameron...but I remember it being largely full more often than at times of the SG era. A lot is different now though, I don't remember 9pm tips, or even 8pm tips dictated by television except when we played at Memphis St which was central time.
