Another fair article, unfortunately. Thanks Weaver for the thorough beatdown the Hokie Nation is taking.

I'm not sure about what Seth was doing at the time. I'm not sure what time Weaver decided.

    Hope that helps.
He mentions the assistants pay. He implies JJ left because of the pay. He doesn't mentioned that JJ said it wasn't about the money. That seems to be shoddy reporting or a misrepresentation of the facts.

I guess they stayed with USC for half, although anyone at that game could see the obvious discrepancy in talent on that field. Losing a close game to Boise St.?

Find me a fanbase of a great CFB program who would include VT in their elite category. VT is a nice program that does a lot with mediocre talent. Not great, just good. Sorry but, that's the national reality.
1/3 of our football team is elite. If only the defense could break away and form its own team...

SG was not "Beamer in sneakers" so I don't need to read beyound the headline. No one at the Wash Post is worth reading on any subject.

And this was all I needed to hear.

Well, to be exceptionally fair, if we are going to accept the evaluation of VT FB as "always good, never great," then using that same set of standards, VTBB would be "Never good, usually mediocre, sometimes bad."

Beamer-in-sneakers might be Pete Gillen. Is he available? (TIC)

Very true info about the football program and good comparison, never winning the " big " game but being competitive and good in the conference.
