Would he be willing to go to 2 million? Or is that far to much?

If he hires a known winner he can pay more because of attendance and donations probably going up immediately. If he hires someone with unknown track record he has to pay less because they will mostly likely have to prove themselves before attendance and donations goes up.

That is why Dell Curry is intriguing, he would probably send attendance back up immediately, but he will have to prove he can coach fast or people will see him as a gimmick.
