Anyword on how much Weaver is willing to spend on a coach?

Would he be willing to go to 2 million? Or is that far to much?

$2M?!?!? Are you out of your mind?

He's much more likely to find someone for $200K than offer up $2M. There is a 0.0% chance we offer $2M up front.

Maybe the "family" wil each donate 10% of their pay checks so Tech can sign a big name basketball coach. That's what "family" is for, to help other family members when in need.

I'm putting the O/U on the new coach's salary at $1.1M and I'm taking the under.

Same. Welcome back to sucks-ville. Mediocre-ville was at least OCCASIONALLY fun.

After further thought, no way the O/U is set at $1.1M. No way. More like $900K, maybe even lower.

Think about it. It's very, very unlikely that anyone even gets $1.4M per year out of Weaver. He would put an end to any discussion that suggested that.

In his narrow mind, he can go out and "get" Prohm or Taylor at $500K by doubling their salaries. So it's way more likely he hires someone for $500K than for $1.4M.
