Shortsighted. This is a very emotional time for most VT folks; regardless of whether you think the dismissal of CSG is right or wrong. Let the chips fall where they may! What's done is done. Next coach and fate of CSG recruits is key. If we lose ALL or most of this class and those in the fold and on the team presently, LOOK for a few (several) bad seasons!! To say the least. If you thought 1 in 9 NCAA was unacceptable. Get used to last place in the ACC and probably no post-season for 4-5 years.

I bashed him and will continue to do so.
If you are going to tell me who is & who isn't a Hokie, I'm gonna have a problem with it. Especially when Coach Greenberg put in 9 years of hard work turning the VT basketball program around from an afterthought to a program that built its way up from the ground floor in one of the Top 3 conferences in the country. And he didn't need to bribe, promise or use any other illegal tactics to do so. He did it with hard work. He busted his ass to make the program what it is today. Did he plateau? Sure, maybe. But he deserves a hell of a lot more to be blindsided by the AD who thought it was more worthwhile to announce a press conference first before telling the actual person you are firing that they are being let go. And then if that wasn't enough, you have fellow Hokies writing that you were not a Hokie. Bull****. The man deserves a lot better given what he has done for not only the basketball program but for Virginia Tech as a whole.

Did you just start reading my articles in the last 2 months? And forget all the positives I wrote about him in the past?
Just go read the article on the homepage. It lays out clearly what I think, and it doesn't mention personality, "good ole boys", "one of us", "True Hokies", etc. It's very easy to have a conversation and discussion about the situation without looking at those things. That's what I did in the article. I'm not biased against Seth. If you think I am, then you ignored almost everything I wrote about him from 2005 up through a couple of months ago.
While you think some here bend over backwards to attack him more than he deserves, you might be doing just the opposite. Just a thought. At any rate, it's over, I wish Weaver had handled it better, but it's in the past. Time to look to the future.

I have never taken any issue with basketball criticisms of CSG. But as the AD said today this wasnt about basketball wins, or NCAA tournament appearances. You have repeatedly tolerated those who have torn Seth down personally when you shouldnt have.

I probably have allowed more comments than I should have, I agree. The name calling, yeah, I should get rid of that when I see it. I did sometimes, didn't other times, simply because even by deleting them it still wouldn't stop the flow of conversation. At any rate, what's done is done.
