    Guess we know now why Weaver didn't go for a big name women's coach

    Seems to me that JW knew that he was going to make a move with Seth and didn't want to spend much money on WBB. That being said I think Dennis is going to do a good job. It will take him a few years to get his players in the system.

    That and apparently Dennis plays well with others....could be seen as someone JW wanted to retain on VT staff given the future departure of SG. Glad recruits are coming in for next year. Coach W had a very bare cupboard to work with but did well under the circumstances.

    I don't think that had anything to do with it. He wasn't going to pay any more than what he's paying regardless. In addition, no "big name women's coach" will come to Blacksburg until after JW retires.
