maddy seems to play with a high motor and is a playmaker, which is something we have lacked at the DT position in the past 4-5 yesrs.

Will be shocked if A. Hopkins regains his starting spot in the fall over Maddy

I agree. Those Hopkins boys are players. Plus, there's something extra about brothers lining up beside each other.

I think the theme on the DL this fall will be heavy rotation. Who starts might be irrelevant.

There was a very dramatic drop-off in DT Production after A.Hopkins got hurt last year. Maddy is good, and may some day be great, but right now he's not the same player that Hopkins is (unless Hopkins gets hurt again). If you get a chance to rewatch the games with both Hopkins starting at DT, the inside push they got on rushing plays was phenomenal.

Is A. Hopkins ready now? Was he one of the two (JGW the other) that could have gone in Spring Game, but was going to be held out to play it safe?
