I can almost accept their need to put the swim first (personnaly, put it last and really make it a survival of the fittest, sure the death count might go up but man up, nancy! ). I can not accept their dependence on crappy etiquette on the swims, ie grab feet, elbows, etc, and wearing wetsuits. Can't draft on a bike but you can get an extra 10% reduction (or more) in effort for the swim by wearing a body float.
Why not take away the multiple gears on the bikes. That's good for 10% or maybe take away the high tech running shoes. That's good for something.
Why not use the best available equipment.
I don't always talk to UVa Grads but when I do I always order the Large Fries.
