bad kharma? Just sayin'....I bet Frank was none too happy about that, especially now with the weather ruining our SG!
Bummer for the players, fans, returning lettermen, and recruits and their families, especially after all the great weather we've been having.
Go Hokies!

i've go two comments for you:
First, Shane was not bragging- he was comparing reality to the real braggart, the salesman who runs the UVA football program right now and who is constantly making false claims about "taking back the state".
Second, Karma is a belief system that I don't agree with so no I don't think the storm had anything to do with Shane's statements.

When did 8 high quality recruits commit?
I have seen one "high" quality recruit commit. Not complaining about the commits. But if you are gonna label a recruit as high quality, then they at least have to have a couple big time offers, or a bunch of offers or at least had a great showing at a couple of these camps. Hodges is deff high quality. Don't think you can objectively say that about the rest.
But maybe you consider them high quality just cuz they committed to VT. If that's the case, then never mind.

I heard one of the staff say that this year the staff had to be sure that anyone who they offered was one they really wanted, given the lesser number of scholarships. Jake Grove and John Engleberger didn't have five stars but we'd all offer them again. TT was#1 in VA but #30 Russell Wilson wasn't so bad, either. I trust the staff on this.
