I lumped the "lease" and "DC address" under the same statement umbrella.

My gf is a resident of DC. Over the weekend I am usually at her place and park legally on the streets. I have so far accumulated 4 tickets worth $400 for not having DC tags. I am a resident of Arlington and I just dont see why they keep issuing me a ticket. Its not like my car is at the same spot for 3-4 consecutive days. Its mostly happened on Sunday nights when I've stayed over. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

P.S.: Not going over is not being considered.

You're right, it does! So India has no excuse at all:

If you live with someone and the lease, deed or mortgage is not in your name, you must provide all of the following:

A statement from the homeowner attesting to the fact that you reside at their home.
A copy of the lease, deed, mortgage or a current utility bill (60 days or less) in the homeowner's name.
A copy of the homeowner's drivers license or non-drivers identification.

You are correct, I read it as having a DC lease (which in itself does not make any sense) I just need my colleague (from whom I rent currently) to draw up a lease agreement (since we do not have one). Thank you.
