I just don't buy this Fuller/Exum and Jarrett/Bonner thing. It seems odd, everything we have seen of these four players says that Jarrett and Bonner are corners and Fuller and Exum are safeties. Fuller at FS seems like a no-brainer, he's the smartest guy in our secondary and it would free him up to be everywhere on the field. Exum, likewise, has all the tools of a rover.
I'm not sure what is up, maybe they are trying to get Fuller and Exum more used to man-to-man in some packages and they want Jarrett/Bonner to better understand the whole concept of the defense. Maybe this is training all four guys to be interchangeable. But I can't remember a time when a move made so little sense by our coaching staff. I haven't seen any compelling reason presented why we would be better with this alignment.
