Thumbs up God Bless this bidder! You just do not hear many stories lie this any more.

Dood bought the Klitschko gold-medal for a kool million USD, scratched the check for the kids; and simply handed the Gold-Medal right back to Wlad -- for nothing?!?

    WOW!
Goodness gracious ... you just can not hear stories like this often enough.

i believe the same thing has happened to the car 3 times in a row... something of a new "tradition" if you will to benefit the armed forces foundation

i think its been sold, redonated on the block, sold, redonated, sold, and redonated to barrett-jackson for a total benefit of over $3,000,000

If I were the winning bidder I would have first made him promise that he will learn how to wear a tie

If he auctions it off again for charity, this is a cool story. Otherwise, guy who wrote the check is just an idiot who gave charity to a mult-millionaire.

Vlad is one great dude. ON a Rome interview he spoke of a kid in Oakland who had a wish to meet him through Make-a-Wish Foundation. Instead of VK just stopping by to visit, he invited the kid and family to his next fight (n Denmak or nearby) and let the kid COME OUT OF THE LOCKER AS PART OF HIS TEAM/ENTOURAGE HOLDING UP ONE OF HIS BELTS! Holy crap, that must have been sweet.

HE didn't volunteer the story, JR insisted he tell it after he told Rome on a commercial break.
    I will never understand people.

He probably will, and hopefully the next winner will give them medal back to VK. Klitschko might be a multimillionaire but an olympic gold is priceless, especially for someone who can buy just about anything he wants. He shouldn't have to give that up just to get people to donate for charity. If he was auctioning off a car or something then it would be dumb to give it back.
