Since I just got home from beating balls on the range, I'll play.
TaylorMade R9 driver & 3-wood, both with the Fujikura Motore shaft. Both are set in the neutral position, on the driver I have the heavy weight on the heel (promotes a draw.) The driver is 9.5 degrees, the 3-wood 15. Also have an R9 3-hybrid (19 degrees, also with the Motore) which I don't really like. I think my old Callaway 7-wood is going back in the bag. The Callaway is a War Bird "Heaven Wood" reshafted with a Grafalloy Fairway. And I have TaylorMade Rescue Mid 4 and 5 hybrids, with steel shafts. All the above S flex.
Irons: 6-iron is a Cleveland TA5 with a Dynamic Gold S300 shaft. 7 thru SW are Cleveland TA3's, also with the S300. 6 thru PW are bent 1 degree flat. 60 degree wedge is a Cleveland 900. Tour Velvet midsize grips on all the above. Putter is a Ping i-Series Anser, regripped with a Winn Pistol Mid.
Golf balls: Just opened up a box of ProV1's I won in a tournament a year or more ago. ProV1's are great but I refuse to pay $50 for a dozen balls, so unless I can find deals or logo overruns I don't play them much. Earlier this year I scored some TaylorMade Penta balls (last year's model) on clearance, and those are great too. My current favorite cheap ball is the TaylorMade XP Tour they had at Costco last summer for $10 a dozen - they're a little firm & don't spin all that well but for 10 bucks a dozen they're okay to play during the early season tune-up period when I don't know which way it's going.
Stand bag is a Cleveland Superfly (yep, that's what they were called) I got during my 2001-2002 stint working in a golf shop. Got my irons back then too. Bag and irons still functioning.
I'm on my third Hokie Bird head cover though (those fade & wear out after a few years.) The bird stays on the 3-wood and the driver goes nekkid.Last edited by DJ Golf; Thu Mar 22 2012 at 07:29 PM.

R-11S Driver with Fujikura Speeder 665 shaft (Stiff shaft)
Superfast 3 and 5 woods
Taylor Made Tour Preferred MC Irons
Usually hit a Pro-V1x
Haven't found that I can hit the R-11S any farther than my old R-7 Superquad though (with the Speeder shaft). Have the R-11S tuned to a neutral face with a 9.5 degree loft now. Once the ground hardens I'll tune it back to 8.5 degrees."It has been said that politics is the second oldest profession. I have learned that it bears a striking resemblance to the first."
